Our Origin Story

Our journey began when Haji M.A. Karodia opened a modest general store in Johannesburg in the year 1911. While others chased trends, he focused on what mattered most: premium materials, fair pricing, and personal relationships with every customer.

As South Africa changed, so did we. During World War II, we shifted from general goods to soft textiles, and by the post-war era, we had become industry pioneers in high-quality fabrics.
